Mamun Abdullah is a fact checker and journalist originally from Dhaka, Bangladesh. He has a bachelor’s and master’s in Television and Film Studies from the University of Dhaka. After starting journalism in the university campus, he led as a president of Dhaka University Journalists' Association. He currently works at BOOM Bangladesh as a fact checker.

Tausif Akbar is Senior Fact-checker at Boom Bangladesh. He is a Media Literacy trainer (TOT), Digital Sherlock along with Reality & Fact-checking. Tausif has been working on fact-checking and media watchdog for the past three years. His areas of expertise are OSInt, SocMInt, Geolocating, Prebunking; detect AI-Deepfake, CGI, DCS, GAN & generated content.

Ummay Ammara Eva is a Fact-Checker, working for BOOM Bangladesh. She completed graduation and post graduation from the department of Mass Communication & Journalism, Dhaka University. After working as a journalist for several years, she got interested in Fact-checking. Apart from fact-checking, she loves singing.

Ameer Shakir has been working as Editor of BOOM Bangladesh since June, 2021. He started working in Bangladeshi news outlets from 2007. Mr. Ameer has long experience to work in different form of popular news outlets like newspaper, online news portal, news agency and electronic media in Dhaka. Currently he puts his efforts to debunk mis/disinformation found in online platforms and mainstream media. Earlier Mr. Ameer studied Mass communication and Journalism from University of Dhaka. Then he did Master’s on International Business in China under a fulbright scholarship of MOFCOM.
